Jean joined Snecma in 1991 as a manufacturing quality methodologies expert.
In 1994, he became production manager and then moved to the automotive industry for a tier 1 supplier. He held different positions linked to manufacturing and worked internationally across Europe but also in the US where he lived during three years. At that time, he was leading the lean activities of the North America Business Unit.
Back in France, he joined SafranHE in 2005 for his skills in quality. He was supplier quality manager and final assembly (new and MRO) quality manager.
In 2009, he joined the Arriel program as deputy program manager. In relation with Airbus helicopter Germany, he obtained the type certificate for the Arriel 2E from EASA.
Before reaching China as programs and industrializations director, he was leading the continuous improvement of the engineering department at SafranHE. In April 2015, he received the continuous improvement prize at the Safran innovation award ceremony for the lean engineering project implemented at SafranHE.
He is now based in France as China programs director.
Jean holds a Master’s degree in engineering from ENSAM (Paris, France, 1990) and specialization (master) in management of quality (1991).
